Japan Invites 100 Indonesian Students
Tuesday, April 22, 2008 16:35:54 -- Japanese Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia, Satoru Satoh, said his government invites 100 Indonesian high school students on the occasion of the golden year of Indonesian-Japanese amity. The invitation is based on a program of exchange of students and youth between Japan and the Far East, known as the JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youth).
Indonesia-Brunei Sign MOU on Culture

Signing was done by the ministers for tourism and culture of the two countries at the Merdeka Palace. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei Darussalam witnessed the event.

Indonesia To Host Asean Phytosanitary Workshop
Monday, April 21, 2008 14:26:34 -- Indonesia will host an ASEAN training and workshop session to implement International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) in November 2008. Decision naming Indonesia the host of the workshop is the fruit of lobbying by Indonesian delegates to a session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) in Rome, Italy.
